Spanish Treasury Launches Telephone and Video Assistance for the 2025 Income Tax Campaign
The Spanish Tax Agency launched on 6 May the telephone assistance service for the preparation and filing of tax returns corresponding to the 2025 Income Tax Campaign, together with the special assistance programme for small municipalities, both of which will remain operational until 30 June 2026.
Both services require a prior appointment, which has been available since 29 April and may be requested until 29 June.
Under the well-known “We Call You” programme, the Treasury will prepare and file the tax return directly by telephone on a personalised basis. The Spanish Tax Agency also reminds taxpayers that calls will only be made to individuals who have previously requested an official appointment through authorised channels.
Assistance Telephone Number
In this regard, the agency insists that calls relating to the Income Tax Campaign will only be made from the following number:
📞 91 333 5 333
The Treasury recommends saving this number in personal contact lists in order to avoid potential fraud or identity impersonation attempts, a phenomenon that tends to multiply during tax campaigns as cybercriminals detect the fiscal calendar with the same instinct sharks detect blood in the water.
Alongside the telephone assistance service, the Spanish Tax Agency has also activated its specific support programme for small municipalities, aimed at taxpayers requiring assistance whose tax domicile is located in municipalities participating in the programme or nearby towns.
Thanks to the collaboration of participating local councils, taxpayers will be able to receive personalised assistance through video support systems installed in designated municipal facilities. According to the Tax Agency, the service will provide assistance equivalent to that offered in conventional in-person offices.
Appointments may be requested online, through the official Spanish Tax Agency application or by telephone.
Available Appointments
The Treasury also reminds taxpayers that the temporary absence of available appointments does not necessarily mean that the system is fully booked, as additional time slots will gradually be released over the coming days.
In addition, the Spanish Tax Agency requests citizen cooperation in cancelling appointments that will ultimately not be used, in order to avoid unnecessary system blockages and facilitate access for other taxpayers.
Cancellations may be processed through the official website, the Tax Agency application or the automated and personalised telephone assistance services activated for the campaign.
